Denis Nolan BHS ’86: For extraordinary achievement in business. Denis is currently Senior Vice President of Global Consumer Products for Major League Baseball (MLB) where he has been employed the last 23 years. At MLB his responsibilities include providing strategic direction and management of all aspects of global licensing, retail, clubhouse and event merchandise operations in addition to the World Baseball Classic (’09, ’13 and ’17). He manages employees in offices in New York and around the globe, handling sales, marketing, overseeing quality control and assuring trademark protection of all 30 MLB Clubs. Through regional partnerships, he oversees the operation of over 500 MLB branded retail stores in Korea, China, Taiwan and Hong Kong.  He started his career in licensing in 1992 working for Time Warner Sports Merchandising the worldwide agent for the World Cup ’94 and the US Soccer Federation. He ran MLB on-field licensing in the US and he was later in charge of MLB International Licensing. Denis resides in Westfield, NJ with his wife Dana and children Nicholas, Natalie and Isabel. He remains active in his parish St. Helen’s, Westfield High School Booster Association, Knights of Columbus and Westfield Lacrosse Club.
