The Hall of Fame seeks to recognize alumni who have achieved extraordinary success in their chosen field or have provided exemplary service to the schools, community or the family. The goal of the Hall of Fame is to promote school & community pride. Hall of Fame Members provide an excellent resource for career advisement and networking for current and future students.
The Hall of Fame Committee is a unique diverse organization that provides current and retired staff members, alumni and community leaders an opportunity to join together to support the students of Massapequa High School. Directors represent a true cross section of the school community. The organization does not receive funding from the school budget nor do any directors receive any compensation.
The Hall of Fame sponsors an Annual Golf Outing and Induction Dinner on the first Monday of August. Funds derived from the event’s participants, sponsors and contributors are utilize to support the Hall of Fame Induction Program, The Annual High School Scholarship Program and (when funding is available) our school and community organization grant program. Information on how to donate a scholarship in honor of a class or in memory of a loved one is available at our web site
The “Hall of Fame” is registered with the State of New York as a “Not for Profit” Corporation. The Federal “Internal Revenue Service” has granted Section 501 (3) (c) “Charity” status.
