  • Dr. Patricia Ford Physician, Family Care B.H.S. 1965

For outstanding achievement as a local family Physician that provides special attention to the needs of children, and the community. For exemplary service to students and parents of Massapequa High School in her early career as a teacher of Biology. (Girl Scouts, Church youth counselor, PTA Vice President, volunteer tutor for Learning Disabled)

 

  • Honorable John Farley M.H.S. 1960

For outstanding achievement as a Federal jurist, attorney and law educator: Judge of the United States Court of Appeals for Veterans Claims; director of the Torts Branch, Civil Division, U.S. Department of Justice; faculty member at the Attorney Generals Advocacy Institute, FBI Academy, U.S. Secret Service Rowley Training Academy, and other government institutes.) For exemplary service to the nation as U.S. Army captain (Four Bronze Star Medals with Combat “V” device, two Purple Hearts, and the Army Commendation Medal); retired from service in 1969 due to 100% disability from wounds received during combat in Vietnam.  For commendable public and community service as an officer and member of the Board of Directors of the Amputee Coalition of America and the Board of Visitors of the U.S. Army Amputee Patient Care Program, as an Adaptive Ski Instructor for disabled veterans, and as a peer visitor and trainer of peer visitors at the Walter Reed Army Medical Center.

 

  • Robert H. Meyer B.H.S. 1969

For outstanding achievement in the field of Corporate Management. (Mobil Oil Worldwide Manager of Legal, Environmental, Medical, Security, Human Resources, Finance and Real Estate Development) For Exemplary service to country. (Graduate of West Point, member of NATOs Outstanding Hawk Missile Battery. Awarded two Army Commendations and a Meritorious Service Medal.}

 

  • Hilary Hartung M.H.S. 1962

For Outstanding Achievement in the fields of Marketing, Sales and Public Relations. (15 year career with Nassau County Coliseum/Director of Group Sales, Director of Public Relations, Director of Marketing 1983-1998. Currently Director of Marketing & Public Relations for the Education & Assistance Corp. a State, N.Y.C., Nassau/Suffolk County sponsored social service agency which administers over 40 programs including Meals on Wheels) For exemplary service to her family, the community and various community youth organizations.

 

  • Woody Kennedy M.H.S. 1960

For outstanding achievement in the field of Public Service. (Asst. Commissioner of Parks and Recreation, promoted to Deputy Commissioner and than Commissioner of Parks and Recreation Town of Oyster Bay) For exemplary service to the community and the county. (Chairperson of Cerebral Palsy Association, CPA Man of Year Community Service Award, Massapequa Kiwanis Club, Leader South Massapequa Republican Club, Massapequa High Schools Hall of Fame Committee, Nassau County Sports Commission)

 

  • Nicholas Lopardo B.H.S.1964 – National Corporate Business Leadership

For outstanding achievement in international finance and corporate leadership: Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of State Street Global Advisors, the nation’s second largest service provider to institutional investors. For exemplary service to the community: Landmark School for Learning Disabilities, Boys and Girls Club of Boston, Susquehanna University Board of Trustee’s Vice Chairperson, Massapequa H.S. Sound Investments Program.   Board Member – USA Hockey, benefactor for Massapequa High Schools Hall of Fame Scholarship Program

 

  • Cindy Lewis B.H.S. 1975 – Director of Womens Athletics Hofstra University

For outstanding achievement in the field of collegiate athletics and program administration. (Director of Womens Athletics /Associate Director of Intercollegiate Athletics, Hofstra University, Chairperson of National Collegiate Athletic Association Division One Womens Volleyball National Committee, Chairperson various ECAC Sports Committees for Women: Softball Volleyball & Field Hockey) For exemplary service to Nassau & Suffolk County High School Interscholastic programs for Girls.
